Dorothy & Associates
History/Purpose/Mission
In 1994,
Dorothy Yeager launched Dorothy & Associates, a
small business designed to "open the heart and rekindle
the spirit through the gift of education". The business
began part-time as Yeager collaborated with Newman Regional
Health of Emporia, Kansas, to provide seminars for health
professionals.
In 1997,
Dorothy & Associates became a full-time business
with a mission to enhance the quality of life for individuals,
either directly or indirectly, by providing inspirational
seminars and grant writing/reviewing services.
Currently
our agency provides the following opportunities:
- Develops
and sponsors continuing education seminars for nurses and
other health professionals;
- Contracts
with health care agencies, churches, conferences, and other
organizations to provide keynotes and/or seminars;
- Completes
grant applications for contracted agencies; and
- Reviews
a grant application for a contracted agency prior to its
final submission.
