Owner/Director
Dorothy Yeager, M.S., is a professional speaker, facilitator,
grant writer/reviewer, author, wife, and mother. She has a
Master's Degree in Adult Education and is certified in Family
and Consumer Sciences by the American Association of Family
and Consumer Sciences. Yeager is a member of Phi Upsilon Omicron,
Inc., a national honor society for family and consumer science
professionals.
As a speaking professional, Dorothy blends her knowledge
with the arts (music, poetry, and short stories) to not only
educate but to inspire her audiences. She has presented more
than 600 seminars to health professionals that include: Health
Professionals Have Feelings...TOO!, Survival Skills of the
Health Professional, Thriving Among Difficult People, and
The Gifts of Humor & Touch. In addition, Ms. Yeager has
taught and/or facilitated numerous seminars in the fields
of Family Life Education, Substance Abuse Prevention, and
Mental Health Education to educators, parents, agricultural
audiences, and students.
Dorothy, described as the caregiver's caregiver, has
presented at many state and national conferences including
the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences CME
Conference. Her warm and compassionate style makes her a favorite
with audiences throughout the United States.
As a professional grant writer/reviewer, Dorothy has more
than thirty years of experience in researching grant opportunities,
writing foundation and government grants (with a success rate
of 72.7% the average rate is 10% for grant writers),
and reviewing grants. Her grant reviews have resulted in agencies
being more competitive on the local, state, and national level.
